The Slack channel was pretty quiet the last few days looking ahead to this morning’s temperature of 24 degrees with windchill into the teens. YHC put out a message that F3 is held outdoors regardless of the cold to remind everyone that there is a special bond that takes place when you put yourself in uncomfortable situations. Doing hard things together creates a brotherhood that cannot be replicated in comfortable environments. Alas, 4 PAX answered the call and off into the gloom we went.
Head to the boatramp for a rotating Mary called by each PAX:
YHC gave the PAX a choice for the 1st main event. We would either do a merkin mile up to Clubhouse Ln or do Hill 11’s. The PAX chose the merkin mile. 10 merkins at every cross street. We finished together and then turned around to come down the hill doing squats at each cross street. YHC offered up the reigns to Cox who cleverly came up with a BOMB Cyclone at the boat launch.
B = 10 burpees
O = 20 overhead
M = 30 merkins
B = 40 big boy
*The cyclone was the karaoke from one station to the next
Time running out, we did one more round at half the reps. Then Indian Run back to the flag.
YHC thanked the men for posting despite tough conditions. Prayers for those battling Covid or Covid related issues such as fear and anxiety.
