How do you know if something is improving if you don’t measure it? Is my fitness getting better or not?
This was the start of the Scorch Trials for F3 Alpha. Many other regions run something similar either for the region or per AO. This usually involves some type of iconic feature of the area to hold the trial. So we run The Maze in downtown Alpharetta. The Maze Runner. Book #2 in the series? Scorch Trials. (It makes as much sense as anything else in F3!)

Simple in concept. You run a maze route through downtown Alpharetta in from of City Hall starting at the Town Green. The circuit is .6 miles. Every time you change directions (left, right or U turn) you perform 3 exercises: 5 Burpees, 10 Merkins and 15 Squats then run to the next turn.
There are 12 turns in the circuit for a total of 60 Burpees, 120 Merkins and 180 Squats per circuit. See how many circuits you can do in 45 minutes. Simple.
We had some top PAX make 3 plus circuits. All made 2 plus. Good work!

Impressive performances by all the PAX. With 25 degrees and 10 mph wind the exercise did keep us warm!

Were else but F3 can you tell guys to show up in the 25 degree weather and run a circuit with Burpees, merkins and squats for 45 minutes and they show up and do it? Merica.
