While it takes time to plan a good beatdown, sometimes Q has to read the defense and call an audible at the line. In this case, the opponents were a combination of cold, wet, blustery weather, and an unusually light PAX count. Taking what the defense gave us, YHC put the board of pain and cinders back in the trunk, and went full improvisation mode.
Longer than usual mosey around the parking lot to warm the cold bones, followed by SSH, Imperial Walkers, Weed Pickers, and Copperhead Squats.
Mosey to the far lot, drop for a dozen merkins and ten jump squats.
Mosey to Big Ben (traffic circle). Perform 11s at the 6 0’clock and 12 o’clock positions – Monkey Humpers and Bobby Hurleys.
Mosey to Veteran’s Walk. Lunge Walk the Vietnam memorial, Bernie back to start, rinse and repeat.
Mosey to Pavilion. Perform Derkins and Sumo Squats in a modified 11 format – starting at 25 and 5, adjust by 5 each round until ending at 5 and 25.
Enjoying the relative shelter of the pavilion, perform Captain Thor (1 alpha american hammer to 4 LBCs), taking it all the way to 10.
With a few minutes to spare and still enjoying the shelter, 3 min of Mary: Gas Pumpers, Annies, Dying Cockroaches.
Mosey back to the flag.
Continued prayers for Covid victims, including Dinghy’s friend whom we just lost and others who are in hospital, for good choices.
