YHC was looking for a fun and inventice way to get some cardio without running. The foot is better but I still have to baby it. I remembered the furniture dollies in the garage and I had a plan.
After setting out some “items” in the pool parking lot YHC ran down to the flag Dr. Rico style to get things started. I was careful to mention that every PAX has to take accountability for themselves and don’t trust me!
Standard Ha-ha warmup:
YHC had set out a 100 foot out and back on the slight incline of the parking lot. We broke into 2 teams with YHC spliting between the two. One PAX from each team would grab a furniture dolly and lay down on it and use your arms to pull to the top and ride back down. Well, that was the idea. The PAX at the bottom would per form exercises in 12 Days of Christmas fashion while waiting thier turn. Exercises look like this:
12 Days of Christmas
10 Skull Crushers
10 Bag Squats
10 Overhead Press
10 Bent Over Rows
10 Bag Flutters (bag 6 in.) Alpha
10 KB swings
10 Bag LBC’s
10 Wonder Bra (Push out and up)
10 Wolverines (Burpee w/ 3 Merkins)
After the first trip up on the dollies it was apparent that the arms as locomotion where not a good idea! In the business vernatular of today we saw the need to pivot and sat on the dollies and push with our feet up and back since you don’t really get a free ride back.
Time ran out before we finished the whole board but no one complained!
