YHC woke up early and realized he had not prepared any workout ideas for todays Q. No problems though, he winged it and came up with some quick and tough ideas.
YHC showed up on the scene and prepared some weights (which ended up not having time to use).
There was some light mumble chatter prior to the show starting.
Mosey around the park back to the “Starting Line” for warm up.
10 Side-straddle hops
10 High knees (Alpha count)
10 Toy Soldiers (each leg)
10 Willie Mays Hays
10 Moroccan night clubs
DORAS! Simple yet elegant way to get a good workout in. Starting at the beginning location, everyone paired up (with YHC being alone and falling into the workouts with the others), and were given their instructions. A run around the park while the partner did the exercise.
200 Mountain Climbers (not Alpha count)
This took up more time than YHC expected, so he had to scrap the weights portion of the work out (was going to do bicep curls, tricep extensions, ect.). PAX moseyed over to YHCs favorite place at this park…. STAIRS. As we arrived, the perfect song came on the speaker, Eye of the Tiger. Immediate images of montage workouts began, along with hearing Clubber Lang in our ears “My prediction….. Pain….”.
Dora’s were conducted, but this time going up the stairs, with a toll on the way up of 5 Merkins and another toll of 5 Merkins at the top.
100 WW2 Sit ups
100 Wide Merkins
150 Leg Raises
With the PAX good and tired, we moseyed back to the starting spot, where we were only able to get one Mary exercise in, 15 Windshield wipers (called by Suarez).
Reminder for Santa Ruck on 12/11.
PAX were given 30 seconds if someone needed to get something off their chest, which is what this organization is all about.
PAX prayed for a local F3 guy who is struggling with motivation, hoping to see him in the gloom soon. We also prayed for Beeline, who is going through ACL surgery tomorrow. As soon as the prayer ended, speak of the devil, BEELINE chimes in. He came for coffee and we discussed his upcoming surgery.
PAX took the picture and had coffee.
Without going into specifics, several PAX continued on with fellowship that was needed. There was a lot of personal discussions about things each PAX is struggling with.
