Been a few months since YHC had been to Caney and got an early start up to the AO, by was greeted by orange hazard cones and warning tape at the entrance. Sorry folks, park’s closed! No worries, because Caney had a back up site. Camped out at the entrance and waved the arriving pax down the road to the original entrance and where the AO started. The alternative site required YHC to modify the beatdown a bit with the lack of stairs at this part of Caney.
Quick lap around the parking lot for the pax and into some Weed Pickers, Hill Billies and SSH.
YHC was pretty beat up from the Ha Ha beatdown the day before at the Norseman and wasn’t sure how to design a beatdown that he could Q without failure (“If you can’t Q it, don’t do it”). Having told the 2.0 that every part of YCH’s body was hurting the advice received was “why not do a full body workout then”. OK, guess that seems logical.
The pax moseyed over to YHC’s vehicle and retrieved some 25 lbs blocks. Necessary prop for a nice full body Dora. We paired up and while one part of the pair ran a lap around the parking lot, stopping to for 10 squats at the far end, the other pax worked on the Board of Pain:
200 Overhead Press
200 American Hammers
200 Flutter Kicks
Most pairs got to the Dips but not quite through them. We used the last five minutes for some Mary and recovered.
We expressed thanks for being out together and the opportunity to exercise and work hard together.
