YHC took a spill over the weekend and banged up my knees, so I planed a upper body BD. Many Merkins were done because why not?
Quick mosey around the parking lot and ended back at the flag.
Pickle pounders (everyone quickly learned the innuendo behind the name)
Side straddle hop
1st and 10 (not the same as the apparent confusing workout from Inseam in a prior BD):
Start at the goal line, run to the other goal line and back. Do 10 merkins and 1 burpee.
Run to the other goal line and then back to the 10. 9 merkins 2 burpees
Other goal line and then back to the 20. 8 merkins 3 burpees.
Repeat this pattern until you do opposite goal line to opposite 10 ending with 10 burpees and 1 merkin.
Next we did a little strength training to get a good pump for the M’s.
50 alternating merkins (everyone loves more merkins). One hand on the coupon, one hand on the ground doing 1 merkin then switching hands
100 overhead presses
150 ballerina squats with (or without) a coupon
Ring of fire:
Round 1: Everyone holds a plank while we take turns doing 10 merkins (like I said, more merkins!)
Round 2: Everyone holds crunchy frog position while we take turns doing 10 American hammers
We prayed for Emeril’s family and the Pax that have either been fart sacking or taking time to recover.
