YHC announced on Slack for a pre-blast that we would be leaving campus and to bring a headlight. 4 PAX answered the call and after a quick disclaimer, YHC mentioned that the beatdown had no plan, no theme and no frills aside from miles and pain stations. With the Windjammer on Fridays, YHC rarely makes Hoppylike these days so I figured I would kind of bring it here. Off into the gloom we went.
Ha, no warmup at the Academy.
We set out toward D-TOWN Alpha stopping on the main lawn for 4 corners. Next up was Brook St Park for wind sprints. Then off to the Alpha Loop stopping a few times on the loop for BTTW and other fun activities. Once we reached Avalon we turned on Westside and couldn’t pass up on the pull-up bars. At this point I warned the PAX that the next segment would be more like Hoppylike so we ran back to downtown taking the long way back. Once we reached City Hall, we stopped for some Mary, then made our way back to the flag. From there, we had 15 minutes left for a fun routine called Stadium Blimps.
10 Burpees, run the stadium steps up, down, over, up, down, over, etc.
20 Lunges – run steps
30 Imperial – run steps
40 Merkins – run steps
50 Plank Jacks – run steps
60 Squats – run steps
No time left, we moseyed back to the flag for COT
