Started off this non coupon workout with some Weed Pickers, Side Straddle Hops and Hillbilly’s

The Thang:

The goal here is cardio mixed in with a variety of other exercises. Coupon use from Monday’s beatdown and Tuesday’s Atlas warranted a change of pace.

Pax ran from warm-up area across the street to the gazeebo

With some epic 90’s Alternative Rock blarring, the beatdown began in the plank position

right arm up, then back to center, then left arm up

next up, 20 plank jacks

run around the complex, my guess would be 400 meters….

squats for the 6 after each lap

50 lbc’s


20 release push-ups


50 Flutter kicks (single count)


20 shoulder taps from plank position (double count)


50 J-lows (single count)


Mosey to pull up bar station where we did a delayed morning call

5 pull ups per pax going in pairs while other pax did push ups

followed by 10 knee raises while hanging from the bar, other pax doing push ups

mosey back to home base

from there, pax were instructed to do 20 V-ups, then a nice little Mosey around the parking lot

next was 10 diamond push-ups, 10 regular push-ups, and 10 wide push-ups

parking lot mosey again took us to the end of the beatdown



Ollie reminded us that the Q sheet is looking bare and we need some pax to lead

It was a fun, sweaty beatdown with the usual critics on music choice, songs and/or bands singing said songs but thats whats you get with this group!

We followed up the workout with our usual Wednesday coffeeteria at Scooters. Good fellowship for those who attended.
