It’s summertime at Windjammer where a record-setting 17PAX of @FalseStart @Cookie
@Townie @Blistex @WaywardSon @Guapo @Stiffarm @RollTide @CartPath @Hanson
@Barb @Stu @Dacked @NachoLibre @No-See-Um 1FNG EJ22 &; @WalkieTalkie headed out
into the humid gloom for an 6-11-2021 Beatdown.

Mosey to the upper parking lot for some Side Straddle Hops, Weed Pickers & Imperial

The Thang:

DJ Jazzy Walkie Talkie had prepared a sick 9-song Hip Hop playlist that looked a little something like this…

8-Mile  –                                  Merkins & run in two teams

Regulate –                              Squats & run

Gin & Juice-                           LBCs & run

California Love –                    Curls w/coupon & run

Ice Ice Baby –                        Group Lunges & Burpees on “Ice Ice Baby”

Young Forever –                    Freddie Mercuries & run (w/coupon optional)
Big Poppa –                            Skull Crushers w/coupon & run
Nuthin’ but a G Thang–        Flutters

Hey Ya –                                 Group SSH & Burpees on “Hey Ya!”; we shook it like a Polaroid picture with some Imperial Walkers

We cut G-Thang short so we could double line Indian Run to the lake to do a short round of Mary with the sunrise view only found at Windjammer; followed by a slow mosey back to the flag. Nice work!

Welcome to the team, @EJ22 What a year and story you have. Mad respect for your faithfulness and perseverance this year. And thanks for the example of overcoming excuses

@Stu & @Cookie reminded us all how quickly medical emergencies can happen and encouraged the Pax to sharpen our Heimlich & Defibrillator skills just in case we ever need to serve someone in need.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

Thanks to @RollTide for sharing his awesome story of overcoming. And for his leadership in starting & growing F3 in Macon. Nice work and inspiring message! @FalseStart reminded Windjammer of our August serving of No Longer Bound.

As Eminem said in our opening song, “I’m a man. I’m a make a new plan. Time for me to just stand up and travel new land. Time for me to just take matters into my own hands. Once I’m over these tracks, man I’m a never look back, 8 Mile Road.”

Let’s go Fishing!
