I wasn’t really sure if I was supposed to Q. Last few weeks, I had been out at the Bridge for various recovery reasons, and I kept swapping with other PAX. I prepared with music and a plan just in case Popper, who was on the Q sheet and had been a fill in, told me to take the lead.
Popper sent me a message late Thursday that I was on.
The PAX started to assemble and other cars came screaming into the parking lot. Couldn’t tell for sure, but I thought they were YMCA work-out’rs. Decided to Mosey past just in case they were looking for this F3 thing.
Mosey around the ole Revelator Coffee and back toward the green. Around the slide, hang a right and head toward the water fountain and stage.
Circle up for SSH, Imperial Walkers, and Moraccan night clubs which came out as Imperial Arm Circles… Think we might need to add that after watching Flo figure out proper technique and cadence.
I had stashed my board o’ pain which is a left over piece of vinyl flooring near by and with a playlist in hand, we partnered up to work our way through the exercises. This list was created for an hour long beatdown that happened at the Yard a few weeks back, so I wondered how the Bridge PAX would do. We had done a lot of Burpees this week, so there was a little bit of Mumblechatter that the first item on the list (starting from the top or the bottom) was 100 Burpees. One partner would work the list and other run a lap. Cumulative count.
100 Plank Jacks
100 American Hammers
100 Makhtar N’Dayes
100 Jump Squats
100 Mountain Climbers
200 Air Press
100 Freddy Mercury
100 Star Jumps
I think everyone was on Dolly’s when I called for us to circle up. Ending with Dying Cockroach, and Gas Pumpers.
Prayers for a Dinghy situation that he had to deal with.
Thoughts and Prayers for health for the guys doing the Hillseeker starting today.
