After a brisk pre-run with three other HIMs, we rounded up by the flag for another fun morning in the gloom.
After a quick disclaimer, mosey to the parkin lot over by the old Hurricane’s for some SSH, WP, IW, and MNC.
YHC explained that we were doing a burpee mile today, that is run one-tenth of a mile, then do 10 burpees, until we get one mile completed and 100 burpees. Slight mumblechatter at this since we had over 100 burpees on Monday.
At the halfway mark, we were at the track, so we spread out in the stands and did 11’s with derkins and dips. Next, to the stairs for 50 calf raises.
Then back to complete the second half of the burpee mile. It was a blast, for sure.
Then we headed behind the building where a school bus with a suspected sleeping driver was waiting. Partner up, and one partner did BTTW, while the other one did 25 “leprechaun in the woods”. Two sets of that, then mosey back towards the flag.
We stopped somewhere in front of Starbucks and then alternated lunge walks and bear crawls to get back to the flag.
Plenty of time for Mary so we went around and each PAX suggested an exercise. Somehow we did 20 more burpees and at least 10 merkins. This is a tough group of HIM, for sure!
Please go sign up for the blood drive on March 26, details on slack.
Always proud to lead this group, we worked hard today, and I look forward to the next one!
