Preamble included an early arrival with Script Kiddie and Dunshire in order to set up the Cones of Dunshire.
The PAX ran a little further than normal today and planked while waiting on the 6. The WOR included:
15 – Side Strattle Hops
10 – Slow Weed Pickers
15 – Imperial Walkers
Independent Sungods, started off small, then went bigger.
WOR ended with Michael Phelps independently
The Thang is called the “Cones of Dunshire!” Five stations were setup in a cone shape on the football/soccer field. The PAX counted off in 5’s and went to each corresponding station. A board with 20 exercises was on display. Exercises included:
Arm Release Merkins
Carolina Dry Docks
Side Strattle Hops
Big Boy Sit Ups
WWII Sit Ups
A twenty sided dice was on hand. Each number on the dice corresponded to one of the 20 exercises on the board.
A four sided dice was also on hand. Each number represented 10, 20, 30, or 40 reps, depending on what was rolled.
The group at station one would roll both dice in order to pick the exercise and reps. Once completed the PAX would rotate to the next station. Each round consisted of 5 different exercises and reps at each of the 5 stations.
Oh yeah, and the PAX had to bear crawl between each station once the exercise was complete.
Once the PAX completed one round of all 5 stations, or full cone, they sprinted 50 yards downfield then Bernie Sanders back to the next station.
After the second round the PAX was granted mercy and would Bernie Sanders between stations.
After 4 rounds the PAX Mozied back to the flag.
The cool down consisted of some “manly” yoga, stretching hamstrings, deltoids, and calves. It’s important to stretch!
Announcement included the Free to Bleed Blood Drive on Friday, March 26th 10:00 am until 3:00 pm. Details listed in the Slack Channel.
Script Kiddie shared a Moment of Clarity with the PAX. A ship’s direction is controlled by its rudder. It’s only a small part of the ship, but it changes the entire course. It does take some time to change direction, just like in our lives. Making small changes in our lives can have a positive impact both our lives, and the lives of others.
We had a coffeeteria, but for the life of me I cannot recall a single conversation we had. It’s been that kind of day. Anyways, we had a good chat and probably talked about something life changing that will forever affect our lives.
