Being the last day of my 45th year, YHC grabbed the Q. Met up with some solid HIMs for a pre-run, and had some good stuff planned.
First we did a bit of a mosey around the parking lot and headed over to the new bakery place for some SSH, WP, WM, and arm circles.
First up was a nice circle burp, all enjoyed that, for sure!
Next we moseyed to the parking lot by the chapel for some fun.
YHC explained the Bill Murray, a set of exercises and then a lap, and then the exercises again and again (like Groundhog Day). These were the exercises: 10 merkins, 10 squats, 10 BBSU, 10 burpees.
We did around 6 sets and then headed back towards the flag. We stopped for some lunge walks along the way, and then went behind the bakery for some more fun.
Partner up. One does BTTW, while the other does 10 Dirty Handshakes on the wall. Two sets each.
Next mosey towards the flag and stop in a big area for something new :).
YHC saw this on Instagram from a yoga dude named Jacob Manning and have been wanting to do it. It’s kind of a variation on Jack Webbs. It goes like this: 1 merkin, 1 air press, then 2 merkins and 2 air presses, increasing until you get to 10 merkins and 10 air presses, then back down to 1 merkin and 1 air press. We stayed together, and all agreed that it was pretty awesome. I think Popper named it Jill Webb…
No time for Mary…
Prayers for all that are sick.
Exciting charity competition (elevation challenge) coming up in February for a chance to win a trip to Mt. Kilimanjaro (Splinter will post details on slack)
Thanks to all these great PAX. It has been great to get one year older with all of you, I look forward to many more!
