PAX (16): One Call, Fire Drill [FNG], Brownie, Scratch Off, Tar Hill, Laces, Tebow, Bo Knows, Spandex, Speedo, Shiner, Meatball, Delicious, Cheneral, Bunion, Zohan
I hate the cold. Really do. Which is why signing up for a Q is such a great way for me to make sure I don’t have excuses. Rolled up to the parking lot a few minutes early to see Delicious there. We did a quick pre-run and came back to a parking lot full of HIMs that didn’t sign up to Q and yet braved the cold with no excuses of their own.
Moseyed around the parking lot and down to the area between the soccer fields. SSH, Toy Sliders, Weed Pickers and Moroccan Night Clubs.
We partnered up. Both PAX run to 1/4 of the field (red line). One partner stayed to do AMRAP Bonnie Blairs while the other run to starting line and back to his partner. Switch. Both PAX run to mid field where one partner stayed for AMRAP Burpees while the other run to starting line and back. Switch. on the 3/4 (other red line) AMRAP BBSU and on the other end of the field AMRAP Squats.
For some reason YHC thought this will take much longer than it actually did, so I called for Rinse and Repeat.
Interlude – Wounded Bear Crawls
We lined up on the side walk to Bear Crawl with one hand and leg on the sidewalk and one hand and leg on the road. Every 4 steps one Merkin. After the initial confusion was resolved we started to slowly advance. At some point YHC called to turn around and continue the other way. YHC planned for 10 merkins each way but didn’t really count so we did whatever we did. It was fun.
Moseyed to the parking lot under the tennis courts for OYO –
At the bottom parking lot 25 alpha counts American Hammers, 25 Merkins and 25 alpha count Flutter Kicks. Run up the hill to the parking lot there for 20 each, back down 15 each, back up for 10 each and finish at the bottom with 5 each.
A few gazelles run back up a 3rd time to pick up the 6, while the rest did SSHs till the 6 came in and joined us.
As Brownie correctly stated, one should expect the wall in Zohan’s BDs. If I Qed and there wasn’t something against the wall it’s not for lack of wanting to.
People Chair position for 15 IC Overhead Presses. Then we lifted right knee up so still in people chair position but all the weight on left leg, for another 15 IC presses. Switch legs and 15 more presses IC.
Finished with 15 Ossie Mountain Climbers (like a regular mountain climbers, but your feet are running against the wall and not on the ground).
We got back to the flag with plenty of time to do a Burpee Circle and added 20 IC Box Cutters and 20 IC Dollies. Time.

It was good to see Meatball from the Hooch and One Call from the Wreck!
The Gladiator group is just fantastic. I might travel to other AOs on occasion, but I always come back!
