Due to the Challenge of Roswell Rd at Brimstone and the Thundermeat Challenge tomorrow (Saturday) it seems many PAX were scared off from the usual grind of the Wreck. However, five determined PAX laid down some sweat!
Brought some variations to the usual warm a rama. Making sure all those crucial ligaments and muscles were ready. Started with wide hip rotations (Hippies), Lateral lunges with standing knee hugs, Arm waves (cheese slicers), Walk out planks, and then good ol side straddle hops. Time to mosey!
Mosey around the pond and all the way to parking lot by football field. On the way, we dropped at every street lamp and hit three burpees. At the parking lot we called ahead and reserved coupons from drainage ditch. Baby carry those lifters to the football field.
Lining up on goal line for the 1st round:
30 curls, 20 skull crushers, 50 bent over rows and 20 wide merkins. Between each exercise the PAx will square the field by side low shuffle right to the corner of field, run to the 50 yard line, side low shuffle left to the other side of the field and then run backwards back down sideline and side low shuffle back to one’s coupon.
Round 2: Rinse and repeat but replace the squaring the field run with bear crawling to the 30 yard line and back.
Mosey back to the flag with a pitstop at the playground for 10 pullups.
Very glad to be a part of this amazing group! Ozzy is headed into an exciting time as he takes on a new job with a software company. Awesome how we’ve pulled together for Swamp-Donkey’s family.
Let’s start planning how we can help others this holiday season.
