7 PAX entered the gloom at the WindJammer. YHC will admit, must adventures with Cookie around Lake Windward usually include a cold beverage, good music, and a boat ride. This had none of that, but we be jammin’.
YHC ran them through a few post disclaimer exercises. All IC and all 10 counts. Arm Circles, Imperial Walkers, etc. Pretty simple and easy start. But wait, there’s more!
Thang1: Super 21s with bearcrawls. PAX lined up shoulder to shoulder did 21 (Merkins, layback squats, and LBCs) then bearcrawled to the other side (approx 25 yards) for 18 reps of the same three exercises. Back and forth decreasing the rep counts to 15, 12, 9, 6, 3, and 1. The fast finishers moseyed up the hill and back collecting the six as the six finished.
Thang2: Line up at the bottom of the parking lot which was facing up hill. Run hard for 200ish yards, with a recovery mosey back. Rinse and repeat for three more times to get us to 4.
Thang3: Each pax grabbed a coupon. 10 IC of various exercises- curls, american hammers, big boy sit-ups, and shoulder to shoulders
Thang4: Speaking of shoulders…Zamperini up the 200 ish yard hill. Walking lung back down
Thang5: 25 reps of curls and 10 rock swings…deposit smooth coupons back in the pile and mosey to the flag for
3MOM…round Robin Style
We gave thanks for the group overall and lifted praise for the kiddos and teachers going back to school in unsettled times. May God strengthen us to live out our calling in way that honors him.
It was great getting to meet some new PAX and seeing some folks I haven’t seen in a while.
