Iron Pax Challenge: watch F3Greenwood’s vid’, grab a whiteboard, some tunes, a timer and copy down the pre-made WO…how hard could it be? Well, the prep’ was def’ the easiest part of this WO.
Greeted PAX, essplained rules of the challenge to the PAX, demo’ed an exercise or two for form’s sake and asked Bear to proctor WO for exercise form…he wasn’t too keen on that idea because he wanted to get on with the Iron Pax Challnege itself. A quick round of karaoke to loosen up the limbs, hit “play” on the big hair and spandex ’80’s PL, hollered “Kobra Kai!” and it was on!
As Greenwood came up with this challenge, the WO was entirely theirs:
3 Burpees (Begins Round & EMOM timer)
50 Hand Release Release Merkins (these sucked)
100 Leg Raises
150 Jungle Boi Squats “2Spoonz Style” (these sucked badly)
200 Big Boy Sit-ups
250 Stationary Lunge Steps (ct ea leg as 1 rep)
Some PAX beat 45 minutes, some went over a few minutes. Everyone, however, put it all out there. Nice work, gentlemen.
Quieted the tunes, counted off, had name-o-rama and learned more about our FNG, “Snax” who chose 1 heck of a workout to begin F3. Impressive! We prayed for our selves in the role(s) of father, husband, student, leader and for our nation’s healing.
IPC WO’s are no joke, but, with the right company, suffering can be endured for longer than any man thinks possible. Proud of the effort all Bad Apples put in on this challenge. No Mercy! Sprocket out.
