YHC thought that it might be wise to stick close to the flag for a few minutes as we’ve had a couple of stragglers lately, but nah…. gave the disclaimer and we were off.
Some amount of SSH, Hillbillies and Windmills. Hitchcock was fortunate to find us from the flag and Blackbox came screaming around the corner and was able to park extremely conveniently to the warm-0-rama.
To the coupon pile where the PAX selected a good two hand companion… as always, this decision would weigh heavily on how the rest of your morning would go.
A mosey to the field and we pretty much completely ripped off Stroller’s BD from a couple of weeks ago, just with different ingredients. All exercises were completed with coupons and were 25 reps. We started in the middle and split into 4 groups moving clockwise around the field, returning to the middle after each exercise for 2 blockees. Gazelles held a Cusack for the 6.
Round 1: Curls, Tricep Extensions, Rows, BBSU
Round 2: Squat Thrusters, Lunges, American Hammer, Bench Press
Bonus Round – this went over better than I could have hoped. PAX predicted some form of suicide was coming up… they weren’t quite right or quite wrong either.
We lined up on the baseline in Cusack position for a lunge walk all the way across the field, hopefully dodging the seemingly random placed soccer goals all over the place. If your coupon dropped below your head, you had to set it on the ground, run back to the baseline and then back to your rock. Brownie may have been the only one to make it all the way across.
With time running short we grabbed our rocks and returned them nearly to the coupon pile and moseyed back to the flag. Somebody called Mary I think but who knows what they did, the Q didn’t make it back until the clock already said 0615.
Congratrs and Prayers for Twitch who just welcomed his second child.
A group of guys will be reading “Dream Big” by Bob Goff and meeting for the first time next Wednesday… location TBD depending on how many people are going to make it.
It’s always an honor to lead this group and am grateful every time.
