I grabbed the Q last night, seeing no one signed up. Wondered where’s everybody at. Quarantine? Vacation? A new Saturday AO who’s first rule is that you don’t talk about the new Saturday AO?


Moseyed through the upper parking lot and the back trail toward the stairs. Quick IC 10 Weed Pickers. Down the stairs and across the road YHC asked the PAX to pick a companion coupon for the next 40 min or so. We Moseyed up and out of the part to the cul-de-sac for SSH, Chain Breakers, Moroccan Night Club and Merkins. The PAX were clearly happy to see each other, there was so much mumble chatter most didn’t bother to count with the Q. This is not a complaint, but appreciation of the fellowship F3 provides!

The Thang:

We moseyed with the coupons to Kimball’ Bridge sidewalk, next to one of the street lights.


At the starting line 2 Burpees, Take the coupon to the next street light and do 15 Curls, 15 Shoulder Presses and 15 Skull Crushers. Drop the coupon. That’s one round. Now you go back to starting line and do it again, so the distance keeps growing. We did 11 or 12 sets till we reached the end of that sidewalk section and planked for the 6.

The slow way back

Lunge with the coupon to the next street light. 10 BBSU (w/ Coupon), 10 single count American Hammers (w/ Coupon) and 10 Bench Presses.

While YHC appreciated the opportunities to lay down, I sure missed those cooler spring mornings.

This and That

On a nearby patch of grass we started with No Surrenders. YHC tried to lead IC but saw some some PAX struggling and decided to change to OYO.

10 No surrenders with each leading leg (so 20 total), 10 Makhtar Nyades with each leading hand (so 20 total)  and 10 Squat Thrustsers. Rinse and Repeat. Dosido reminded us that good form for the Thrusters would be to keep the coupon at chest level.

We moseyed a very short distance back to the cul-de-sac for a quick dessert – 10 OYO Men Makers (Burpees with Coupons) and from there moseyed back down into the park to deposit our tired and well used coupons.

On the stairs we did escalating Calf Raises. 1 on first stair, 2 on 2nd, 3 on 3rd, and so on. Restart on each platform. For an exercise with no running and no breathing hard, it can be quite painful.

We moseyed back to the flag for 30 IC LBCs and 15 IC Freddie Mercury. YHC’s shorts were so soaked during this mosey they felt like I just stepped out of a swimming pool. Nacho said we run 2 miles. I think we swam it.


Prayers for a nation in need of healing. A lot of confusion with some counties moving fully to online learning and not every family can handle it as well (devices at home, parents working from home to help kids, meal plans, you name it). A lot of uncertainty. We prayed that, as men of F3, we’ll find the right ways to step up and help others.
