We had a VQ scheduled for this morning… BUT TMI’s M had a call from her Doctor’s office that someone with COVID was there the same time she was. So as is only right TMI is staying home until he gets results from his C19 test.
So I grabbed the Q this morning. After Nacho’s bear crawl express on Tuesday the shoulders were… ah… warm. So it was time to hit them again!

Then we moseied to the rock pile.
Although this rock pile aught to be called the bolder pile. There are some real monsters in there!
Instructions were to pick out a rock in the volleyball to basketball size. Want it to be challenging. At this point Hot Sauce grabs a moderate size rock, that is it LOOKED like a moderate size rock until he moved it! But he stuck with his choice and we all hefted out rocks up to the the “Big Lot”.
Perform 25 reps of the following exercises after which we made a half loop of the parking lot always facing East:
After our loop we went back for round 2 but with 20 reps this time.
It was time for a mosey so we ran up to the Norseman “track” between fields 6 and 7. Perform 10 merkins, run to the other side of the loop and perform 10 squats. Nice deep squats! Then run back to the start. Do this 5 times.
We then stopped for planks and a quiz. A wrong answer gets the group 10 merkins.

We probably got another 60-70 merkins in before we got the whole list:

We mosied back to the rocks but stopped along the way for derkins on the curb for the six.
We got back to the rocks and we went back to 25 reps of the previous exercises listed above.

Return rocks to the rock pile and mosey to the football field.
It was time for a new exercise. I came across this while researching bad ideas for workouts.
Start in a plank position. Step forward with left hand and right foot. Hold that position and perform 1 merkin. Then step forward with right hand and left foot. Hold that position and perform 1 merkin. The goal was to reach the 50 yard line from the goal line. Nacho made the 30 and most of the rest of use were around the 20 when time was called.

Great to see our RNGs Jethro and Dr. Rico back out today. Both a real go getters and are not satisfied with the status quo. Both are working hard for change. Seems we all linger a little longer around the flag after a workout these days! We all are looking for just a little more face to face time with someone. Even if they are dripping sweat on the ground!
