Mosey to the parking lot above the tennis courts, which is at one entrance to the park. Quick warm-up of IC SSHx15, Hill Billies x15 and Weed Pickers x10

The Thang:

Escalating BLIMPS

We run to the parking lot at the other entrance to the park. On the way there we stopped at each Speed Bump for escalating BLIMPS.

One set of BLIMPS includes 1 Burpee, 2 Lunges, 3 Imperial Walkers, 4 Merkins, 5 Peter Parkers and 6 Squats. Alpha count where relevant.

We did one set on the first speed bump, 2 on the second and so forth, finishing with seven sets just before the parking lot.

The PAX were asked to pick up the 6 when we pass behind the flag, about half way, but some just moved on. YHC had to modify and do single counts to catch up with some of the PAX. A kotter by the name of DC2 reminded YHC that math-heavy workouts aren’t always a good fit for the gloom as PAX lose count and track.

Tebow called out some Mountain Climbers for the 6.

Team Work

At the other parking lot we split into pairs for a partner workout, though not a dora.

Each pair had to complete 2 runs to the pavilion (at the bottom of the hill, left side) and 120 reps of each: Big Boys Sit Ups. American Hammers (alpha count), Gas Pumpers, SSH and Mountain Climbers.

Each pair could split the workout down the middle (1 run, 60 reps of each exercise) or modify (example – one partner does both runs while the other partner does more sit ups).

YHC had to call time before all pairs were able to finish. We reached the flag and did 20 IC LBCs.


T-claps for Tebow who brought our former Site-Q a present from all of us – a gladiator bubble head that looks like Spandex only much better.

DC2 shared what inspired him to come back.
