Coupons 3 ways

Mosey, SSH, Weed Pickers, Hillbillies, Merkins and Mountain Climbers. This week I tried to keep the warm-up under 20 minutes mark.

The Thang:

First round

We picked up coupons from the pile near the pavilion and edged closer to the restrooms.

Circled up for a Men Maker Circle. Men Makers are Burpees with a coupon. We stood holding the coupons over our heads. Each PAX in turn called Down and EVERYONE do the Burpee. First time looked more like a demonstration as the PAX stared at YHC but they got it afterwards.

We split up into 2 groups. Next we did 20 Curls IC. One group did the curls standing up, the second group did them in People Chair position (back to the wall, knees at 90 degrees or close to it). Then switched and did 20 more Curls IC.

Same concept with the Wonder Bra (push the coupon forward, then push it up). 20 IC, switch positions and 20 more IC.

We closed that round with 20 Squats with the coupons.


Second Round

We moseyed to the parking lot and paired up for a Dora with more coupons. 100 Big Boys Sit Ups, 150 Bench Presses and 200 American Hammers single count. Skulls Crushes while waiting for the 6.

YHC was sure this would take much longer than it actually did, forcing him to improvise later on.

We closed the round with another Men Maker Circle.


Third Round

After putting the coupons back we moseyed to the middle of the Widow Maker where we picked up coupons again, this time for lunges.

Starting at the men hole, do 1 Lt. Dan (4 single lunges, 1 squat), put the coupon down, run back to the men hole and back to the coupon. Now do 2 Lt. Dan. Run back to the men hole and again to the coupon. 3 Lt. Dan and so forth. It took about 6-7 rounds to get everyone up the hill.

We closed with another round of Men Maker Circle and put the coupons back.


Bonus Round

YHC did not expect to be left with 10 minutes to spare and so used a half baked idea he was contemplating for a future workout. I doubt that even fully baked it would have been better.

We moseyed to the parking lot near the flag. Starting on the parking lot lines, begin with 10 Burpees. Crawl Bear (=backwards) one line and Bear Crawl (=forward) 2 lines. 9 Burpees. Again Crawl Bear one line and Bear Crawl 2 lines. 8 Burpees….

YHC had to call Recover before we got to the middle of it. We moseyed back to the flag and had just enough time for some Dolly and American Hammers.
