YHC has been on a low-mosey regimen ever since he ran into the booby-trap that Swamp Donkey set for him at Bandit last week, so it was time to fire-up the BB time-machine to revive a BD from the pre-RESPECT days when Q had a busted wheel. However, unlike the good old days when Virginia Slim was a regular attendee, our keeper of cinders was using RESPECT (and a sore back) as an excuse for what seemed an eternity of fart-sacking. It took a good bit of EH’ing (and the promise of no-mosey BD) to convince the man to load up the cinder and rally.
YHC directed PAX to grab a coupon and cusack towards the playground while disclaimers were given. Some in-cadence arm curls for the last stretch, following by a brief set of warm-up exercises:
Q instructed PAX to count-off by 2’s to split the PAX into two separate groups. Starting at the playground, one group would farmer-carry 2 coupons to COT and back as a team. As soon as a team-member had to drop coupons for a rest, everyone in the group would perform 20 overhead press w/coupon. This process would repeat until the group returned back to the playground.
The other group would perform the following rotation of exercises while waiting for the farmer-carry group to return:
Some random observations:
It did not go unnoticed that it took 3 FULL SONGS for first farmer-carry group to return to the playground.
Coupons of a cinder variety appear to gain weight when left out in 3+ inches of rain overnight. I suspect they were pushing 40+ lbs today.
Farmer-carrying style was varied and interesting. Some of us have battle scars to prove it.
An infant has more grip-strength for pull-ups than PAX after a round of farmer carries.
Tubbs is smarter than he looks.
Virginia Slim started with the “bronkettes”, but didn’t end with them. Discuss amongst yourselves.
Foley is surprisingly competitive during farmer carries. Not sure what that means but it was noted.
With T-5 on the clock, Q called time and directed all PAX to cusack back to the flag. No time for Mary today.
Sad to hear that Fred the Marine passed away, but heaven’s surely safer now.
Prayers for Tweaker’s father.
Prayers for friends of PAX suffering from cancer and other ailments.
