Christmas BOP

Preamble:

Earlier in the week, the weather forecast showed Saturday morning as cold, windy and rainy … in other words, a perfect gloom.  In reality, the rain disappeared from the forecast and little wind made for a great morning for a little pain.  4 posted for the Twisted Surprise pre-run getting nearly 5.5 miles in.  4 more for AlphaRuck.  Great to return to the flag from the pre-run to find Groupie with an FNG to join us for the joyous activities to come.

Warm-O-Rama:

Around the parking lot to the top side for a quick warm-up of IC SSH, weed pickers and copper head squats.  No time to waste, so back down onto the soccer field to let the fun begin.

The Thang:

Today was a partner Board Of Pain with a Christmas rock playlist to keep us pushing hard through-out.  Counts done as total between partners.  Partners ran a lap (or 1/2) around the soccer field between each exercise to get our mileage in.

It was great to have a large group out this weekend.  I really enjoy Widowmaker as an AO to gather and see brethren from multiple AO’s that we don’t see through out the week. Let’s keep this one strong.
