PAX (11): Groupie, Ha-Ha, Nacho Libre, Crikey, Pumba, Legos, Callahan, Peyton, Pot Hole, Betamax (DR from Omaha!), Beaker
After a good nights sleep YHC rolled into the Norseman to see the usual crew unloading for the beatdown. Then the cars kept coming. 11 HIMs came out to enjoy a solid beatdown as well as some perfect temps. Betamax joined us DR from Omaha…I think he just came because it was 19 degrees there this morning and 50 here, but I digress…and Legos was a Kotter. Pothole checked out the Norseman as well.
Mosey from the flag to the pond for a round of SSH, Hillbillies and weed pickers.
Since the inception of the Norseman last September, we have traversed the park many times over…except for the tennis courts. This was addressed today. We found ourselves on the center court of the three courts and circled up for instructions. Partner up for some BOMBS. As one partner performed the exercise, the other partner took a lap around the courts. When the runner completed a lap, he picked up on his partner’s count and started the exercise. Together the partners performed the following:
50 Burpees, 100 Overhead Claps, 150 Merkins, 200 Big Boy Situps, 250 Squats
We finished a little earlier than anticipated, so we lunge walked across the three courts, then ran two more laps around the track…this time running backwards though. Mosey back towards the flag, but we added some quick DB drills to round out the beatdown.
Mary – Started with the dolly, then tossed to Betamax for Omaha’s favorite which was Marge/Homer/Dohs, then to Nacho for T-bombs, and then we ping ponged around to get in some LBCs, freddie mercury, dying cockroach and finished up with some J-los.
Great work, men! Thankful for you guys and I am very thankful for the impact you have on my life!
