At 32 degrees (coldest start since early Spring) and one day removed from Halloween, expectations for turnout were low. Nonetheless, 12 PAX decided to put on a few extra layers and dig out the gloves to burn off some Halloween calories.
Mosey along trail, past tennis courts and up the hill toward the community activity building. Continue mosey along Western edge of pond and circle up in parking lot at the top of the hill for the following warm-up:
Mosey down the trail and through the main parking lot to the trail where we’d gather up at the playground. After selecting a partner of integrity, Q directed PAX to perform the following:
Partner A does Seal Kicks on picnic table (lying on table with hips just off the edge, raise & lower legs) while Partner B does 10 Pull-Ups.
Once Partner B is finished with Pull-Ups, switch roles until Partner A is done with Pull-Ups.
20 Merkins together.
30 Squats together.
Run around baseball field to COT and perform 10 Burpees (reducing the count by one for each lap performed).
Return to playground, rinse/repeat.
With roughly 5 rounds in the bank and 10 minutes left on the clock, Q directed all PAX to perform some lower-back exercises on the picnic tables (2 rounds of 10 each) before heading back to the flag.
Continued prayers for Sprocket’s sister who is undergoing more treatment.
