It was a quiet morning at the Gladiator. YHC even donned a costume for his impromptu Q… the PAX frequently razzed about a t-ball game later. I don’t know what they were talking about. With a light rain falling, only 5 PAX braved the gloom this Halloween morning. Demons aka The Washington Nationals and Toronoto FC must have scared everyone away.
A quick mosey to the crosswalk by the tennis courts. This was the hardest it rained all morning… so it was a great way to start.
A mosey over to the pavilion and we started off with a Captain Thor. Similar to Jack Webb with 1 Big Boy to 4 American Hammers. These hard core PAX took it all the way to 11.
Then a Quick Bolt 45. 15 half squats, 15 squats from half to all the way, then 15 full squats.
Since none of these PAX were at the convergence, YHC recycled some of that workout. 5 exercises, 5 reps each. Merkins, Irkins, Durkins, Catalina Wine Mixer Step Ups, and Carolina Dry Docks. Rinse and Repeat.
As they rain let up we moseyed over towards the pavilion on the other side of the soccer fields. A quick pause for 15 Cheerleaders (these were kind of awesome, definitely going to have to mix them in more) and a Failure to Launch – about this time the maintenance workers were driving in and definitely rubbernecked trying to figure out what in the world we were up to.
Finally a trip to the pitch where we ran suicides and wound down with an Indian Run. With a small crowd, we were going to get some cardio at the Gladiator.

Prayers for the family of Delicious’ co-worker, who had a family member pass away from childhood diabetes and an encouragement that if you have any conditions that are manageable, don’t be selfish and do what you can to manage it.
Prayers for Spandex as he goes to see his sister who had a stroke.
