Ah, October! IronPAX is but a bad memory, the temps finally slip below 70 degrees in the morning gloom and the sun does not come up until 7:45 am at the Norseman AO. YHC put out a call on Slack to bring the headlamps for we were going to get tired.
We welcomed our FNG, made sure everyone had a headlamp and took off for the sprawling campus of St. Francis. Half way across campus we stopped for:
Then we continued our mosey on to the football practice field.
In the dark southeast corner of the practice field, in the dark, is a treasure trove of tires. We selected 3 beauties and took them 50 yards away from the corner and set up for a Dora.
Partner runs to the tires and flips 3 times toward the group then 3 times back to the start. Then run back to your partner and swap.
After we finished with Dora we returned the tires and mosied back toward home but stopped at the big hill and ran back to the top again because it had to be done!
We climbed the staircase from the bus ramp to the courtyard and set up for:
We then continued back to the flag but we were too early so on to the football field:
Bear crawl from the goal line to the 50 yard line. At the 10 stop and do 1 Burpee, at the 20 stop and do 2 etc. to 5 at the 50.
Now on to the flag:
and Nach o took us out with T-Bombs
Our FNG was a Florida State grad so resisting the urge to name him Gator or Spurrier we named him Crikey! (Gator, crocodile, Steve Irwin = Crikey!)
Continued prayers for those members traveling.
Good morning at The Norseman! Great to have some cool and an FNG. Groupie, come home!
