PAX (11): Lumbergh, Heidi, Mayhem, Red Ryder, Krueger, Zima, Pinkey, Trebek, Stifler, Top Hat
Lots of mumble chatter on Slack preceded the workout, with most lamenting the IPC on Tuesday and wondering if we would get a reprieve today. YHC had other ideas up his sleeve. Reprieve no. Different, yes. So 11 PAX took the DRP and here is what went down.
Mosey over to the side parking lot for SSH, Weedpicker, Imperial Walker & the Kobe
It was at this time that YHC informed the PAX that we would be doing a circuit of 1:4 Ratio pain stations. We moseyed around the park and found 5 destinations for the following:
Lt Dan – 1:4 ratio of Squat and Lunge
Jack Webb – 1:4 ratio of Merkins to Air Press
Bonnie Burps – 1:4 ratio of Burpee to Bonnie Blairs
Captain Thor – 1:4 ratio of Big Boy Situps and American Hammer
Donkey Dans – 1:4 ratio of Merkins and Donkey Kicks (ran out of time and only completed 2 sets)
Time running out on us, we took an Indian Run mosey back to the flag for 1 MOM.
Prayers were spoken for victims and families of 9/11/01. The day prior marked 18 years since the worst terrorist attack in our nation’s history. Prayers were also spoken for those injured or sick (MT, Pitstop), and for the sadclowns in our community that need something like F3 in their lives. TNT followed the COT, with Lumbergh and Mayhem sharing their stories of the BRR from the previous weekend. Moral of the story, push yourself and you will be surprised about your own perception of personal boundaries. Announcement of 2nd F next Thursday, 9/19, time and place TBD.
Awesome to see Red Ryder post again after his FNG experience doing the IPC on Tuesday. We were betting he was a “one and done”, but he luckily proved us wrong
Heidi, Pinkey & Trebek get the award for most consistent lately, you can always count on those three guys… very strong additions to the Rubicon
Krueger wins the award for best comeback player. Since his return, he has been unbelievably consistent
Stifler was sporting a nice carpet burn on his leg from sliding into 3rd base during his church softball game… good thing he was safe as he made the final score 17-1
Top Hat, Zima, Mayhem & Lumbergh all solid as usual
