PAX (6): Nacho Libre, Callahan, Miller Time, Lumbergh, Devito, Ha-ha
I called out for everyone to bring a ruck for a ruck PT this morning and 3 Rubicon regulars along with 3 Norseman regulars answered the call.
Conditions: Warm and humid like armpit.
We rucked over to the St. Francis track and each picked up a cinder on the way through the trail of discarded stuff.
As we reached the track we put down our cinders and rucks and performed:
You know how sometime you have a plan and you think it is a good plan? Maybe a tough plan but a good one none the less? Yeah, well, it was a hard plan the that the PAX would fail to complete:
Partner up for Dora
Partners to knock out:
300 Ruck Swings
200 Ruck Lunges
200 Ruck Overhead Presses
While one partner is knocking out the exercise the other partner rucks while suitcase carrying 2 cinders to the far end of the bleachers and back about 100 yards each way.
Suitcase carrying 2 cinders 200 yards was a challenge! After each PAX had 2 goes of it I reduced the distance down to mid-field (about 75 yards) and then to the near end of the bleachers (about 50 yards). Modifications abounded.
Meanwhile back at the exercise end of things the ruck swings proved quite a challenge as well. All groups made it though the Ruck Swings and BBSUs and it was time to start heading back.
As we rucked back through the trail of discarded stuff we held the cinders Zanperini style back to the pile and rucked back to the football field.
Starting at the goal line, bear crawl dragging your ruck to the 50 yard line.
A quick ruck back to the flag and it was time.
Alpha gear on sale on the Mudgear site until Thursday night. Or Monday depending on what you choose to believe.
First week of school for Fulton County.
You give the Alphamen a challenge and they step up to get it done! Even though it became apparent as we went along that we had too much to do in the allotted time these guy fight through it.
Good to see the Rubicon Ruckers out this morning. Come back any time!
