The PAX ran about a 3/4 lap around the pitch and then circled up at midfield to get started.
10 Toy Soldiers
After the Warm-O-Rama, the PAX headed back to the main parking lot to pick up the cinders. Each PAX had their own coupon and we headed to the back of the parking lot to the base of the hill. The PAX lined up with their cinders and counted off in threes. We had three teams of 6 at this point and team names were assigned.
The next series of exercises were performed in a relay fashion with one of the six PAX running up the hill with their cinder, perform 5 blockies at the top, run back down to the other 5 team members, tag up and then the next team member repeats until all 6 members have run the hill. While one PAX was running the hill the other 5 were performing the alternating exercises listed below.
All Exercises were performed utilizing a cinder.
Alternate: 5 Squats & 5 Deadlifts
Alternate: 5 Military Press & 5 Bent Over Rows
Alternate: 5 Mercans & 5 Mountain Climbers
Alternate: 5 Kettle Swings & 5 Curls
After the third series, the three teams were tied with one win each. Team Gracchus won the fourth series and ultimately triumphed with the winning record!
After this event, we returned the cinders and headed to Manchester Field to finish up. The PAX lined up in two lines for an Indian Run around the field. Then we headed to midfield, circled up, with random exercises being given as the PAX called out the next exercise in a clockwise rotation.
A prayer request was brought up by Puddle Jumper as he travels internationally for 2 1/2 weeks. Also, continue to pray for the Kaiser family as Katrina recently lost her mother.
