Winter is coming……..again, and as we enter mid March it just will not go away. Luckily this was the last day of winter and spring will be just around the corner! 2 PAX hit the gloom and hit the highway for a tour of lights around the Firehouse. Let’s mosey!!
Mosey up towards the entrance to Stonehenge for warm-up:
There was constant movement for this Q by YHC. Route 66 routine starting at roundabout was our highway of pain. Fudd and I hit almost every light post in our AO, which we have never done, and mind you, was indeed an accomplishment. Those who have been to our AO know the extent of light posts that surround the park. It is quite a sight to see. Here was our routine:
Excercises– merkins, Squat thrusts, and v-ups
Reps– 5, 10, 15
We did an excerise at everyone light post starting with 5 merkins. Next post squat thrusts(10) and 3rd post v-ups(15) etc. These excercises were mixed up during our adventure every so often so we could change up the reps adequately.
At the end of each road, or when we reached an intersection, we did 10 Burpees. The total ended up being 50 burpees by the time we came back to the flag. All in all almost 2 miles of pain was had for both PAX at the end.
Mary consisted of step ups x 20 and dips x 20. All in IC. Then we finished with:
50 LBC’s IC(100 total)
Prayers for missing pax and health.
Prayed that God would give us strength to be a light, or beacon if you will, to those men who need community.
