10 Pax this morning for an old school string of pearls beatdown. Nothing fancy and nothing that hasn’t be done before, just some of my favorite things.
0530 hit and took a quick long mosey to the parking lot outside the gym.
25 SSH waiting on the 6.
1 Derkin on curb – Bear crawl to opposite curb
6 Merkins on the curb – Bear crawl backwards (these are brutal for some reason)
Mary for the 6
Quick mosey to the concession stand to stand on our heads
Balls to the wall
Air chair for the 6
Rinse and Repeat
Quick mosey to the gridiron
for Lt. Dans altern.
2:1 Lunges to Squats
Gets us across the field quicker
Ended up at the other goal line at 18 lunges & 9 squats
Run back to the other goal line to shake the legs out
Mosey around the gridiron to the opposite field
for Jack Webs (one of me regulars)
1:4 Merkins to Arm Raises
Almost forgot the most important set – 40 arm raise
The Pax kept me honest and must have been craving the pain
Moseys were getting slower at this point
Slow mosey to the Big Ass Hill (which about killed me this morning)
Another Simple 7
1 Squat – Run down the hill – 6 Split Jacks
Pretty sure I started walking up the hill towards the end. This thing is a beast especially while doing a leg WO.
Slow Mosey back to the exercise equipment for some Morning Roll Call
Pax plank – first pax performs 5 pull-ups while the pax match with Merkins
Tried to limit Mary from all the grumbling of pain from Wednesday’s brutal core WO by Bear, but we had a couple minutes left. Round Robin Mary until 0615 hit.
Hog Wallow Saturday run location change to Kennesaw Mountain in prep for Helenback – 5 and 10 mile option
