A Special Haiku
How many gallons
of Boomer’s pain did you drink?
Burpees was the theme of the day, and YHC doesn’t think anyone left disappointed about a lack of burpees. TBH, this one was a real snot woggle, and YHC was beatdown by the end. T-claps to the pax who rucked before especially FNG Butkus. Here’s what happened.
Circle up at center circle. SSH, squats, cotton picker, and mountain climbers all IC.
Line up on sideline for BLIMPS. But start with B, sprint to other side and do BL. Sprint back and BLI. And so on until spelled BLIMPS.
Mosey to the top of the widowmaker for Jacob’s Ladder with modified burpees. Instead of jumping up each time, the pax do the leg thruster and merkins but only one jump. That might not make sense at all, but it was quite pleasant. And throw in a crowdpleaser of 5 merkins halfway down and halfway up the widowmaker. This was awful. Widowmaker is tough but there is usually some recovery time before heading back up, but not today. Some Mary at the top as we waited for the 6.
Indian Run mosey around. Detour for a car. Detour because the field was closed. Back to the rock pile. Partner up and grab a rock. Mosey to goal line on turf field. Modified Dora. 100 curls, 100 shoulder presses, 100 skullcrushers. Partner does burpee broad jump to goal box line (18 yards) and sprint back. Simply awful.
Time for a quick tunnel of love and then 3 minutes of Mary. Done.
