Instead of Gorillas in the Mist, it was a slight deviation at Wills Park for 9 PAX who made it out to enjoy temps in the mid 50’s and a heavy fog that added some effect to the morning’s beatdown. Here’s what went down…
Mosey to Parking lot by the swimming pool for warm up’s:
SSH X 15
Windmill X 15 (Thanks to Crack for keeping the Q in proper form!)
Imperial Walker x 15
Merkins X 10
Mosey to the FOD for some backwards base running:
Round 1: Starting at 3rd base- high knees to 2nd, side step to 1st, backpedal to home, sprint to 3rd and do 10 burpees. Rinse and repeat x3
Round 2: Walking lunges to second, frankensteins to 3rd, bear crawl home, sprint to 3rd and to 15 merkins. Rinse and repeat x 3
Next to the hill for some partner exercises:
Partners run up the hill together and each does 10 Partner Derkins while the other planks. Run back down the hill and each partner does 10 leg lift throw downs. Rinse and repeat x 3
Then to the wall for dips, derkins, and one leg lunges. sprints around the building between each exercise.
After that, it was time for some amusement with a crowd favorite: Peoples chair for all PAX taking turns running to the tree and showcasing their finest monkey humper skills. It was determined that this exercise is best performed prior to sunrise!
Closed out with some block sets- 2 sets of 20 each for curls, ohp’s and skull crushers and 2 sets of 20 genuines and block swings. (DC II takes the crown for highest block swing elevation. Well done!)
