8 PAX at the rubicon this morning for a deck run.
Some of the PAX are doing a 5,000 Merkin Challenge. Count of Merkins will be in parenthesis.
The Thang
Mosey up Old Milton for about a half mile to the creepy statue of kids around a tree.
Small warm up of Mountain Climber Merkins (11) and SSH
Mosey another half mile to the very bottom of the deck.
YHC scoped the deck this morning and someone has left us some prizes. Stacks and stacks of bricks.
Grab 2 bricks. Mufasa takes his time selecting bricks here, they are all the same, but it was similar to DV trying to find the smallest rock at the rip rap swales at Wills Park.
With rocks, curls then Merkins on Bricks (20).
Now, deck fun.
Start at the bottom of the landing.
Bear crawl to the next landing.
10 Burpees (10), 15 Merkins (15), 20 Squats, 25 LBCs
Pack peddle across the flat part. Rinse Repeat, drop 5 each time.
Bear crawl to the next landing.

Jog back down to the flat area.
Crab Walk half way, up and switch to lunges to the next half. Add 5 each time.

Crab Walk half way, up and switch to lunges to the next half.
5 Burpees (5), 10 Merkins (10), 15 Squats, 20 LBCs
DV takes over to Q.
2 lines of Indian run races to exit the deck. Left team ties Right team, nobody loses, no extra burpees.
Lineup for an 8 man long Merkin Line for 10 (10)
Seal team sit-ups, 2 groups of 4. 2 sets of 25. YHC felt his second twinge in his right hammy of the day at #14 of the 2nd set so fell off.
Next up 3-Man monkey rolls. PAX needs more practice with this. Not all of us scored 4 Touchdowns in a HS game like the Al Bundy’s in the group.
Jog it back to the park with various Marys at the intersections and stops.
106 Merkins for those doing the challenge.

Great job by the PAX today. Would have been a lot more grumbling about the mile out and back a few weeks ago.
Good to see Swiper back today going strong.
Nacho with another EH. The St. Francis pipeline appears rich, though Hot Sauce has as many 2nd F appearances as 1st F.
Mufasa appears to be in top form.
Great stuff from Darth Visor. Really got to know your neighbor with some of the workouts.
No-See-Um with the HC for Tuesday by taking the flag home.
Grits back and healthy, showing Thursday was a fluke. Was also on time as opposed to 2nd F.
Welcome FNG Babyface, that nickname was a softball toss. Thanks for making it easy on the group!
Pack peddle? Softball toss? Are these an engineer’s DECLs to confuse the rest of us, or are you just making up lexicon?
